New Cellars - Romanesque period and early Gothic

The highest Romanesque style is represented here mainly by architectural elements with stylized plant ornamentation, which originally decorated the cathedral or the adjoining palace of Olomouc Bishop Jindřich Zdík. Notice the fragment of the relief of the Adoration of the Magi, which was probably originally mounted on the facade of the cathedral. It is the work of the stone masters that Bishop Zdík brought from the Rhineland in what is today Germany.
